The Greater Amman Municipality announced a mild emergency level effective Monday evening, followed by a moderate emergency level from Tuesday morning, in response to the expected weather conditions.

The municipality confirmed that its field teams are fully prepared to handle any reports received by the Tla' Al-Ali Emergency Operations Room. It urged residents to call the Unified Contact Center at 102 or 117180 to report any incidents or observations.
The municipality called on residents to exercise caution, stay away from valleys and low-lying areas, and avoid connecting household rainwater downspouts to sewage manholes to prevent flooding on roads. It also urged residents not to dispose of waste randomly, as this can block rainwater drainage systems.
The municipality stressed the need to check submersible pumps in basements and commercial premises located below street level. It also urged business owners to take precautionary measures when storing goods in warehouses and basement levels.
The Greater Amman Municipality called on contractors and owners of construction projects to secure building materials to prevent them from being washed away and causing blockages in rainwater drainage systems.
