Witkoff: Significant Progress in Talks to End the Russia–Ukraine War

U.S. President’s envoy Steve Witkoff revealed on Thursday, ahead of a scheduled visit to Russia, that talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine have “made significant progress” and are now limited to just “one remaining issue” between Kyiv and Moscow.اضافة اعلان

Speaking during an event on Ukraine held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Witkoff said: “I think it has now been narrowed down to one issue, and we have discussed frameworks for this issue, which means it can be resolved. If both sides want to settle it, we will settle it.”

Witkoff, who is expected to travel to Moscow later on Thursday with U.S. President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, did not provide further details. (AFP)
