Erdogan to Seek New Term in Early Election

A senior adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the president will seek another term in an early election expected to be held in April 2028, Turkish media reported on Thursday.اضافة اعلان

Private broadcaster NTV and the Cumhuriyet newspaper quoted Mehmet Uçum as saying that if 360 lawmakers support a decision to call an early election, it would be held on April 16, 2028, instead of the constitutionally scheduled election in May of that year.
