Palestinian security sources reported that occupation forces opened fire with live ammunition at Mohammad Ahmed Abu Ghalia Al-Swaiti (25) in Khirbet Salama. The shooting occurred under the claim that he attempted to approach the "Negohot" settlement, which is built on Palestinian lands and properties southwest of Hebron. The young man succumbed to his wounds at the scene, and his body is currently being withheld by the occupation authorities.
Khirbet Salama is located west of Dura in the Hebron Governorate, in the southern West Bank, and is among the villages occupied by Israel during the 1967 war.
