For the second day in a row, Israeli occupation forces have continued the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, this measure reflects an attempt by the Israeli authorities to assert control over Al-Aqsa and erase its Islamic identity by preventing worshippers from entering and performing prayers in its courtyards.

Last night, occupation forces stormed the Old Prayer Hall (Al-Qibli Mosque) within Al-Aqsa, ransacking its contents, breaking open storage units, and conducting an aggressive search of the area.
During the raid, Israeli forces arrested four of Al-Aqsa’s guards:
Mohammed Arbash
Ramzi Al-Zaanin
Basem Abu Jumaa
Eyad Odeh
Palestinian officials and human rights groups have condemned the repeated violations at the holy site, viewing them as part of a broader campaign to alter the religious and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
