In a statement, the Israeli military said it had “completed an additional wave of strikes overnight in various areas of southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley,” targeting rocket launch platforms, weapons stockpiles, and other military sites belonging to Hezbollah.
The statement added that several commanders from Hezbollah’s Radwan Force were targeted on Friday, along with two buildings used by the unit in the village of Majdal Selm in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army did not disclose the identities or the number of the commanders targeted.
The Israeli military statement did not mention the airborne landing operation in the town of Nabi Sheet in eastern Lebanon, which had earlier been announced by Hezbollah.
