The NNA reported that the casualties include 15 residents from Nabi Chit, nine from Al-Khraiba, one from Sareen, and one from Ali al-Nahri. Meanwhile, the enemy has maintained its usual secrecy regarding its own personnel losses.
Earlier on Saturday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported an initial toll of 16 killed and 35 injured in Nabi Chit, located in the Baalbek District of eastern Lebanon, noting that search and rescue operations for those missing under the rubble are ongoing.
Furthermore, the NNA reported that the Israeli occupation committed a "bloody massacre" in the southern town of Jibchit, where six citizens—including four members of the same family—were killed after Israeli warplanes struck and destroyed a residential home at dawn.
Commando Operation and Clashes
Lebanese media reported an Israeli heliborne operation at dawn involving four Apache helicopters in the Nabi Chit area, accompanied by heavy gunfire. The NNA stated that an Israeli commando group was spotted being dropped in the rugged mountainous area of the Eastern Lebanon Mountain Range, between the towns of Al-Khraiba, Maaraboun, and Yahfoufa. The force infiltrated under the cover of darkness toward the Al-Shukr cemetery in the eastern neighborhood of Nabi Chit, where they were engaged in clashes involving light and medium weapons.
Local media also recorded intensive overflights by Israeli warplanes in the Bekaa airspace, along with heavy gunfire in the Southern Suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh). Additional reports indicated confrontations between Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and the Israeli army in the southern town of Khiam.
On Friday, the Israeli military announced a new wave of attacks in Beirut, confirming it was targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the Southern Suburbs. Strikes on Thursday night caused extensive destruction in the Dahiyeh following an unprecedented Israeli evacuation warning to residents.
