Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continuing Iranian ballistic missile attacks on Jordan, describing them as a breach of international law, the United Nations Charter and Security Council Resolution 2817, and a threat to regional stability.

The ministry expressed full solidarity with Jordan and backed the measures the Kingdom is taking to protect its sovereignty, security and the safety of those on its territory. It also praised the Jordanian Armed Forces' air defence system and its record in intercepting incoming missiles.Bahrain called on the Security Council to take decisive action to compel Iran to halt its attacks on countries in the region.
Resolution 2817, adopted on March 11 by 13 votes to none with two abstentions, condemned Iranian attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Bahrain drafted the text and led negotiations on it, and it drew 135 co-sponsors. China and Russia abstained.
The statement followed an announcement by the Jordanian Armed Forces that air defences engaged 20 ballistic missiles fired from Iranian territory in the preceding hours, destroying 18. Two fell in unpopulated areas, and field assessments recorded no casualties. The military said it acted under established operational procedures and that monitoring and assessment continue.
