Israeli forces arrested more than 100 Palestinians from various governorates across the occupied West Bank over the past week, including children, women, former prisoners and journalists, as part of an ongoing escalation in arrest operations and targeting of Palestinian civilians.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said in a statement that Israeli forces continue to intensify arrest operations across the West Bank, accompanied by a range of violations and abuses, including extrajudicial killings, field interrogations of dozens of Palestinians, physical assaults and mistreatment, as well as threats against detainees and their families.
Among the most prominent detainees over the past week was former prisoner Ahmad Al-Sayfi from Birzeit, who was released as part of the latest prisoner exchange deal. Journalists Muath Ammarna and Sabri Jibril, along with a number of former prisoners, were also arrested.
During the arrest operations, Israeli forces carried out extensive raids on homes, searched and damaged their contents, caused property damage and converted several homes into military posts. They also detained civilians as hostages to pressure members of their families, while continuing mass arrest operations targeting entire areas and neighborhoods during raids.
The arrest operations were accompanied by attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their property, with protection and support from Israeli forces. The attacks included assaults on civilians, road blockades and attacks on vehicles, as part of an escalating campaign targeting Palestinians across the West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club noted that field interrogation has become one of the main tools used during raids and arrests. Dozens of Palestinians are detained and interrogated under harsh conditions before some are released or transferred to detention facilities, as daily raids and arrests continue across the West Bank.
The arrests come amid Israel’s broader campaign against Palestinians since the start of the war in Gaza. Since then, Israeli forces have arrested more than 25,000 Palestinians in the West Bank, in addition to thousands arrested from the Gaza Strip, as part of what the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club describes as a systematic policy targeting Palestinians across different segments of society.
