Infant Dies from Severe Cold in Southern Gaza Strip

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday the death of a 9-month-old girl due to extreme cold in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip.اضافة اعلان

Thousands of displaced persons’ tents in Gaza were flooded as a result of a weather depression accompanied by heavy rainfall, exacerbating the already dire conditions for the displaced amid a lack of essential materials and equipment to mitigate the impact of the storm, whether for alternative shelter or heating.

The Gaza Civil Defense Directorate stated that, since the onset of the weather depression, it has received more than 2,500 emergency calls from citizens whose tents and shelters were damaged across all governorates of the Strip.
