Hamas: Ready for Comprehensive Deal Including Prisoner Swap for End of War and Israeli Withdrawal from Gaza
On Wednesday evening, Hamas announced its full readiness to enter a “comprehensive deal” for a prisoner exchange, confirming that it is still awaiting a response from Israel to the proposal submitted by mediators and approved by Hamas and other Palestinian factions since mid-August.اضافة اعلان

In an official statement, Hamas outlined its vision for resolving the crisis, including clear measures to end the war, ensure the withdrawal of Israeli forces, rebuild the Gaza Strip, and its willingness to form a technocratic administration to manage the affairs of the territory.

Hamas set out the framework for a deal it is willing to accept, which includes four interrelated key points:

Full Prisoner Exchange: The release of all detainees in exchange for a mutually agreed number of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.

End of War and Complete Withdrawal: A permanent ceasefire and full withdrawal of all Israeli forces from all areas of the Gaza Strip.

Opening Crossings and Humanitarian Relief: Full opening of all border crossings to allow entry of all necessary aid and construction materials.

Initiation of Reconstruction: Launch of a comprehensive process to rebuild what was destroyed during the war in Gaza.

Regarding the future governance of the Gaza Strip, Hamas reiterated its acceptance of forming “an independent national technocratic administration to immediately assume responsibility for all sectors in Gaza.”

These conditions reflect Hamas’s vision for a final resolution, linking the issue of prisoners with a comprehensive end to the war and its consequences, and placing the ball in Israel’s court to respond to the proposal currently on the mediators’ table.
