According to a statement from the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem, the settlers carried out provocative tours inside the courtyards of the mosque.

The statement noted that the settlers received briefings about the so-called "Temple" and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers in the eastern section of the compound, all under the protection of Israeli forces.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police intensified restrictions on Palestinian worshippers attempting to enter Al-Aqsa, confiscating their ID cards at the mosque's outer gates.

Jerusalem-based organizations and activists have continued to call on Palestinians to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque, emphasizing the importance of populating the site to thwart occupation plans and settler incursions.

The calls urge Muslims to frequent Al-Aqsa and perform prayers there, stressing this as a practical step to confront the occupation’s measures and to resist efforts to isolate the mosque from its surrounding religious and community environment.

It is worth noting that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected daily—except Fridays and Saturdays—to repeated violations and incursions by settlers, under the protection of Israeli police, as part of attempts to impose full control over the mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.
