Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque – Al-Haram Al-Sharif in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation police.

In a statement, the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem said that groups of settlers entered the mosque compound through the Moroccan Gate, conducted provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals within its courtyards.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces tightened restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering the mosque and confiscated their ID cards at the external gates.
In response, widespread calls were launched urging residents of Jerusalem and Palestinians inside the occupied territories to mobilize and remain steadfast at Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the occupation’s plans and settler incursions.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily violations and raids by settlers—except on Fridays and Saturdays—under police protection, as part of ongoing efforts to impose full control over the site and implement a temporal and spatial division.
