In a statement, the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers entered the mosque, roamed its courtyards, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its eastern section.
Occupation forces imposed strict restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and confiscated their ID cards at the outer gates.
Meanwhile, Jerusalemite figures and institutions continue to call on Palestinians to intensify their presence at the mosque and to maintain its vitality in order to thwart the plans of the occupation and its extremist settlers.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily violations and incursions by extremist settlers, except on Fridays and Saturdays, under the protection of the occupation police, in a continued attempt to impose full control over the mosque and to divide it both temporally and spatially.
