Caucasus Wrestling Championship concludes

AMMAN — The Caucasus Wrestling Championship, which was organized by the Meedan Club, concluded its activities on Friday at Al-Ahli club’s headquarters. اضافة اعلان

Five different teams were present at the championship: Meedan, Tolam, Al-Jeel, Gladiator, and Caucasus. Thirty-six wrestlers of different ages and proficiencies participated in the tournament.

Vice President of the Jordan Wrestling Federation Abdullah Qutaishat highlighted the important role tournaments such as this one play in increasing the level of participation in wrestling amongst the Kingdom. He highlighted that these events attract players to practice and grow their skills and talents,, which later enables them to join national teams.

"We in the Jordanian Wrestling Federation support and support all the federation’s clubs in organizing such tournaments, as they contribute to the development of wrestling from all aspects. We also thank Meedan Club for organizing this distinctive tournament,” said Qutaishat.
