Al-Matbouli qualifies for Asian Boxing Championship semi-finals

AMMAN — National youth boxing team member Mahdi Al-Matbouli qualified for the semi-finals of the Asian Boxing Championship. The tournament is being hosted by Jordan at the Martyr Rashid Al-Zayoud Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City. اضافة اعلان

The championship will see the participation of 352 male and female boxers, and will continue until March 14.

Matbouli achieved a well-deserved victory over Kyrgyz boxer Zakir Leah in the quarter-finals of the under-67kg weight category. He will compete next Friday against Kazakh boxer Salam Sovito, who defeated Iranian boxer Muhammad Sina Murtzafifa in his quarter-final bout.
