AMMAN — National team player, Khetam Abu Awad on Saturday won the bronze medal in table tennis at the Tokyo 2020 summer Paralympics games.  اضافة اعلان

Awad’s group qualified for the first round and jumped from the quarterfinals to the semi-finals due to her outstanding and advanced level globally.

However, Awad lost 1–3 rounds to Chinese player,Pan Jiamin in the semi-final game.

Awad has so far bagged three medals for her participation in the Paralympics, the latest in the Tokyo games, with her first at the Athens’s Paralympics 2004 and her second at the Beijing Paralympics 2008.

Sunday, three Jordanian champions will be vying in the powerlifting competitions, namely, Asma Issa (79kg weight class), Abdul Karim Khattab (88kg weight class), and Mutaz Al-Junaidi (97kg weight class).
