Vance Warns U.S. Will Respond to Any Iranian Attack With “Violence”

J. D. Vance warned on Friday that the United States would respond to any attack carried out by Iran with “violence.”

In a post on X, Vance wrote:

“Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it. If they have disagreements about how the memorandum of understanding is being implemented, they can pick up the phone. But violence will only be met with violence.”

The remarks come amid heightened tensions following recent military exchanges between the United States and Iran and growing uncertainty over the future of the ceasefire arrangement between the two countries.
