Irbid Governorate Announces Free Buses to Transport Fans to Jerash to Support Al-Nashama
Irbid Governorate has announced the provision of free buses to transport citizens from Irbid City to the city of Jerash, enabling them to watch and support the Jordan national football team (Al-Nashama) in its final World Cup 2026 match against Argentina. The match will be broadcast on giant screens at the ancient theaters of Jerash.

In a statement, the governorate said that the buses will depart at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday from the Amman Transport Complex (JETT Roundabout). It added that a sufficient number of buses will be available to ensure smooth transportation for participants.

The governorate also noted that buses could be arranged from other areas within Irbid Governorate if a sufficient number of residents gather, inviting interested citizens to coordinate through the phone number 0796077400.

The match will be shown on large screens at the archaeological theaters in Jerash, allowing a large number of fans to watch the game and cheer on the national team in a festive and patriotic atmosphere.

The governorate emphasized that participation in the event, including round-trip transportation, will be free of charge for all citizens. It added that the initiative aims to support the national team, strengthen values of solidarity and national pride, and promote Jordan’s archaeological and tourist sites.

Several municipalities across Irbid Governorate have also announced plans to provide buses from their areas to transport supporters to the ancient city of Jerash to cheer on and support the national team.
