Zakat al-Fitr set at JD1.8

AMMAN — The Iftaa Department has set the obligatory Zakat al-Fitr for 2024 at JD1.8. Additionally, it stipulated that the Fidya for individuals unable to fast due to old age or incurable illness is JD1 for each missed day.اضافة اعلان

Following its meeting on Thursday, the department permitted the payment of Zakat al-Fitr from the beginning of Ramadan. However, it is preferable to pay it between the sunset of the last day of Ramadan and the Eid prayer time, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
