The Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/83 officially began providing comprehensive medical and therapeutic services on Sunday, continuing the ongoing support of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in strengthening the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip amidst the difficult conditions caused by the ongoing Israeli war.

The commander of the hospital unit confirmed that the medical teams immediately began setting up clinics and preparing all medical facilities upon their arrival at the mission site. The hospital includes departments for general medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, orthopedics, dentistry, pediatrics, pre-operative assessments, and internal medicine, offering integrated and specialized healthcare services tailored to meet the needs of the local population.
Residents of Gaza expressed deep appreciation for Jordan’s continued efforts under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, praising the sustained medical and humanitarian support delivered through air drops and land convoys. This assistance plays a vital role in alleviating the suffering of civilians as a result of the ongoing conflict.
