Palestinian medical sources reported on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,944, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources also noted that the number of injured individuals has reached 155,886, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them.
Within the last 24 hours, 47 martyrs (including 9 recovered from under debris) and 226 injuries were recorded in Gaza’s hospitals. Since the breach of the ceasefire agreement by the occupation forces on March 18, 2024, the toll has reached 10,400 martyrs and 43,845 injuries.
Additionally, within the last 24 hours, 14 martyrs and 132 injuries from humanitarian aid efforts were reported, raising the total number of martyrs from aid-related efforts who arrived at hospitals to 1,938, with 14,420 injuries.
Gaza’s hospitals have also recorded 7 new deaths caused by starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, including two children. This raises the total number of famine-related deaths to 258, among them 110 children.
