Settler Raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque Continue
Meanwhile, Israeli settler groups continued their provocative incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif in occupied Jerusalem, under heavy protection from Israeli police.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed the mosque’s courtyards through the Moroccan Gate (Bab al-Maghariba), conducted provocative tours inside the compound, and performed Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli forces.
During the incursions, Israeli police prevented Palestinian worshippers from entering the mosque through its outer gates, in order to secure the settlers’ entry and presence.
