The death toll from recent flash floods in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has risen to more than 320 people as of Saturday, after the disaster claimed 93 additional lives in the Buner district, according to the provincial disaster management authority.

On Friday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa witnessed devastating scenes as torrential rain triggered flash floods across several areas, killing more than 200 people in a single day, including five crew members of a provincial government helicopter that crashed in Mohmand during relief and rescue operations.
