UNRWA seeks $1.6 billion in 2022

AMMAN —  UNRWA announced Tuesday that it was seeking $1.6 billion from the international community in 2022, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

The funding, UNRWA said, will enable it to cover the needs of millions of Palestinian refugees and secure vital life-saving services and programs, which include education, health, and food aid.اضافة اعلان

“The request includes additional emergency funding for UNRWA to meet the humanitarian needs resulting from the crises in Gaza, the West Bank (which includes East Jerusalem), Syria, and Lebanon.”
