Tourist arrivals in Jordan dip by 6.8%

AMMAN — The number of tourists visiting Jordan in January this year dropped by 6.8 percent compared to the same period last year, as per data from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.اضافة اعلان

In January 2024, 470,000 tourists visited Jordan, down from 504,000 in January 2023, according to the Ministry's data, Al-Ghad reported.

Data released by the Central Bank of Jordan on Wednesday revealed that tourism income in January 2024 grew by 0.4 percent compared to the same month in 2023, reaching JD392.9 million.
