Jordan’s ecotourism shines: 5 sites earn top traveler reviews

AMMAN – Five sites affiliated with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) won Booking.com’s Traveler Review Awards 2024.

The positive reviews given by visitors to the reserves from various parts of the world during 2023 are what the society describes as reflecting ongoing efforts to preserve a unique experience for visitors, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The five sites that received high and distinguished ratings are as follows (ratings are out of 10):

  1. Rummana Camp: 9.2.
  2. Ajloun Cabins: 8.3.
  3. Azraq Lodge: 8.1.
  4. Dana Guesthouse: 8.3.
  5. Al-Mujib Chalets: 8.5.

Fadi Naser, the Director General of RSCN, emphasized the organization’s pride in its various sites and reserves, which have achieved exceptional ratings.

Amer Al-Rfou', the Director of Protected Areas at RSCN, stated, “This achievement reflects the continuous efforts of the society’s staff and their collaboration with visitors... We always strive to provide unique experiences for our visitors, and we are proud to have achieved this goal.”

"Natural reserves play an important role in biodiversity conservation and promote sustainable development. We are committed to protecting these unique sites and aim to share their beauty with visitors from all around the world,” he further emphasized.
