AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has launched
a summer campaign in Arab Gulf countries to market the Kingdom as a tourism
destination for Gulf residents this summer, under the motto “Breathe”.
In a press release, quoted by the Jordan News Agency, Petra,
Tourism Minister Nayef Al-Fayez said that the Kingdom has set up a package of
health protocols to protect the tourism sector and its workforce from the
COVID-19 virus this season, indicating that Jordan is ready to receive Gulf
tourists under the recently announced health protocols.
On the motto, “Breathe”, JTB Director General Abdulrazzaq
Arabiat said that “the past two years under the pandemic have been tiring,
directly impacting Jordan’s tourism sector, and rendering the return of the
freedom to travel a dream that everyone yearns for.”
Arabiat added that the campaign depicted Jordan as an
