Today, the Ministry of Investment launched a new investment project through its official platforms and media outlets, inviting qualified companies or specialized consortia to participate in the Pre-Qualification (RFQ) process for a project aimed at reducing Non-Revenue Water (NRW) in the south and southeast areas of Amman.اضافة اعلان

The project is part of the National Water Strategy, aiming to reduce water loss and improve the operational efficiency and management of water networks.

According to the announcement issued by the PPP Unit at the Ministry of Investment, the project will be implemented through a Performance-Based Contract (PBC) in the capital governorate, Amman, in cooperation with the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) and Miyahuna (Jordan Water Company).

The Ministry of Investment / Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Unit in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan hereby announces an invitation for qualified companies or specialized consortia to participate in the Request for Qualification (RFQ) for the Water Loss Reduction Project. This will be conducted via a Performance-Based Contract (PBC) in Amman Governorate, in collaboration with the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) and Miyahuna.

This project aligns with the National Water Strategy, targeting the reduction of water loss and the enhancement of service efficiency and network operations in South and Southeast Amman.

The Ministry of Investment aims to select a private sector operator to contract with the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) through a competitive and transparent bidding process. This process adheres to the provisions of the PPP Projects Law No. 19 of 2023 and is in line with international best practices.

The tendering process will be conducted in two stages:

Stage 1 – Request for Qualification (RFQ): Interested parties are invited to submit their qualifications to be considered for shortlisting.

Stage 2 – Request for Proposals (RFP): Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit their technical and financial proposals.

Submission:
Qualification applications must be delivered in person to the PPP Unit at the Ministry of Investment (2nd Floor, 5th Circle, Al-Kindi St., Building No. 36-A, Amman, Jordan. P.O. Box 893 Amman 11821 Jordan). An electronic copy must also be submitted according to the instructions in the RFQ documents.

Deadline:
The deadline for submitting qualification applications is Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Jordan Local Time).
