At Least 9 Members of Pro-Iranian Faction Killed in Strikes on Western Iraq

At least nine members of an armed Iraqi faction loyal to Iran were killed in strikes on western Iraq near the Syrian border, two senior security officials reported on Thursday.اضافة اعلان

At least ten others were wounded in the bombardment, which targeted the headquarters of the Ansar Allah al-Awfiyah movement at a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) base in the city of Al-Qaim, Anbar Province, according to the Iraqi officials.

One of the officials noted that "the headquarters was destroyed, and rescue teams were also targeted upon their arrival," suggesting that the death toll is likely to rise.
