In a post on the "X" platform, Ghalibaf stated: "Any aggression against the territory of the Iranian islands will shatter all forms of restraint," adding that Iran "will abandon all limitations and will make the waters of the Gulf flow with the blood of the invaders."
Ghalibaf also held U.S. President Donald Trump "personally responsible for the blood of American soldiers" in the event of a military confrontation.
Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has retaliated by striking Israel and other regional nations with missiles and drones.
