JAF: Iranian Missiles and Drones Targeted Vital Installations Inside Jordan
The Director of Military Media for the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), Brigadier General Mustafa Al-Hiyari, confirmed that the missiles and drones intercepted by Jordan were targeting vital sites and installations within Jordanian territory. During a joint press briefing with the Public Security Directorate (PSD) regarding the repercussions of the "War on Iran," Al-Hiyari emphasized that these were not "transit missiles" (crossing through Jordanian airspace to other targets) as rumored.اضافة اعلان

He added that the interception of these threats resulted in shrapnel falling across various regions of the Kingdom.

Al-Hiyari announced that Jordanian air defenses engaged with 119 missiles and drones targeting Jordan over the past week of military escalation in the region. The breakdown included 60 missiles and 59 drones. The Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) successfully intercepted and destroyed 108 of them, while 11 missiles and drones were not intercepted.
