Jordan: Closing Al-Aqsa Mosque to Worshipers is a Crime Against Muslims
The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Places of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has followed with grave concern the occupation authorities' closure of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, using ongoing regional events as a pretext. The Ministry considers this unprecedented closure—particularly during the last ten days of Ramadan—a crime against Al-Aqsa Mosque and Muslims worldwide.اضافة اعلان

In a statement released on Thursday, the Ministry emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque, in its entirety (covering 144 dunums), is under the Hashemite Custodianship of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.

The Ministry of Awqaf further asserted that it is the sole and authorized entity responsible for managing Al-Aqsa Mosque, including all its facilities and annexes, as well as all Islamic endowments (Awqaf) in the Holy City of Jerusalem.

The Ministry stressed the urgent need to halt these violations, reopen the doors of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshipers, and respect its sanctity. It reaffirmed the right of Muslims to pray and perform their religious rites within the mosque without restrictions or aggression.
