Senate head, Belgian envoy discuss ties, region

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez met on Tuesday with Belgian Ambassador Filip Vanden Bulcke for a discussion of prospects to enhance relations between the two countries in political and economic fields.اضافة اعلان

Fayez stressed the importance of increasing the volume of bilateral trade and Belgian investments in Jordan.

On regional crises, the Senate head spoke about Jordan’s stances towards various issues and His Majesty King Abdullah’s efforts to end conflicts and enable the people of the region to live in security and stability.

The envoy commended Jordan’s key role to bring about peace and restore security and stability in the region, adding that Belgium is interested in cementing relations with Jordan and increasing and diversifying its investments in the Kingdom.
