He clarified that the video and posts shared over the past 24 hours, which were attributed to a child abduction incident, actually depict a case of child harassment, not abduction. The girl’s father filed a complaint with the Rusaifa Police Directorate a few days ago, and the investigation is still ongoing to apprehend the suspect.

The spokesperson urged everyone to rely on official sources for information and to refrain from publishing any posts unless they are verified, in order to prevent the spread of rumors and panic in society. He emphasized that the Public Security Directorate is always proactive in publishing warnings or statements regarding any issues, criminal methods, or phenomena that concern public opinion.
