Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi told a delegation from the Al-Azza clan on Sunday that Jordan is advancing on its modernisation path on the strength of established institutions and a united public, Al-Ghad reported.

Receiving the delegation from the northern Badia at the Royal Court, Issawi said His Majesty King Abdullah is continuing efforts to bolster Jordan's resilience, protect its vital interests and reinforce its regional and international standing.
Issawi added that His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein is playing an active role in modernisation initiatives, particularly those concerning youth, the economy, technology and emerging sectors.
The economic and investment initiatives launched by the King and pursued by the Crown Prince aim to draw on Jordan's location, stability and skilled workforce to attract high-quality investment, build strategic partnerships and open new markets, he explained.
The King's vision, according to Issawi, rests on building a more productive and competitive economy that improves living standards by strengthening the business environment, empowering young people and encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation.
On regional affairs, Issawi said Jordan's handling of the region's crises reflects a consistent approach set by the King, one that favours dialogue over escalation and pushes for political solutions that address root causes. That approach has established Jordan as a voice of moderation and a trusted partner, he argued.
Issawi affirmed that the Palestinian cause remains at the top of Jordan's priorities, and that the King continues to defend Palestinian rights and protect Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem under the Hashemite custodianship.
Jordan is capable of confronting its challenges through its leadership, public awareness and institutional cohesion, Issawi said, adding that the country's real strength lies in the trust between its people and their institutions.
Speakers from the delegation renewed their pledge of allegiance to the King and the Crown Prince, describing loyalty to the homeland as a principle inherited from their forefathers and one they intend to pass to future generations. They said Jordanians would stand united against attempts to undermine the country and its institutions.
The delegation, representing clan members from the town of Al-Akader in the northern Badia, voiced support for the Crown Prince's focus on youth and thanked the King for royal initiatives in the town, including the construction of a wall around the girls' school and the addition of nine classrooms. They called for continued support to meet the town's service and development needs.
