PMs receives condolences for Aqaba victims

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh received condolence letters and phone calls from his Arab counterparts and other senior officials from several nations over the victims of the gas leak in the port of Aqaba, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi sent a condolence letter expressing solidarity with Jordan over the “tragic accident”.

Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdul Aziz al-Thani expressed Qatar’s support for Jordan, underscoring the brotherly and deep-rooted relations between the two countries.

Egypt’s Mostafa Madbouly and Lebanon’s Najib Mikati were among several senior officials who telephoned Khasawneh, expressing their heartfelt condolences for the victims of Monday’s leak, which killed 13 people and injured tens of others.

They expressed their countries’ full solidarity with Jordan and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
