AMMAN — The Coalition of Nationalist and
Leftist Parties stressed that that the Palestinian people have always been a
model of resistance and confrontation, according to Jo24.
In a statement on
Saturday, the coalition said that “steadfast” Palestinians’ resistance and
determination defied Israeli projects, adding that doing away with the
Jordan-Israel Peace Treaty has become a national and public demand, and
denouncing all “normalization with the zionists”.
The coalition also condemned a previous decision by
the Ministry of Awqaf, which banned late-night prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, with
the exception of the last 10 days of Ramadan.
The coalition hailed the “heroic and steadfast
Palestinian people”, stressing that the only language to confront the enemy is
“resistance”, which would liberate Palestine.
Earlier on Friday, Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa
Mosque to expel all worshippers. The violence by Israeli forces on worshipers
resulted in 150 injuries and more than 400 arrests.
