Awqaf minister condemns Israeli violations at Al Aqsa

AMMAN - Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalaileh, on Friday, denounced the Israeli violations against Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif and the worshippers inside the mosque, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Khalaileh, in a statement, said, "We are following with great anger the violations implemented by the Israeli occupation authorities against the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on Muslims in it, and the sabotage and destruction of its buildings."

He added that the right of Muslims to the Al-Aqsa Mosque stems from the Islamic faith and a blessed Hashemite custodianship.

The minister reiterated that Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, with its total area of 144 dunums, including its walls and gates, is a place of worship for Muslims only.
