AMMAN – The
Ministers of Public Works and Housing, Maher Abu Saman, and
Education, Azzam Al-Muhaisen, met on Sunday to
discuss the progress of several school building projects being carried out by
the Ministry of Public Works, according to Al Mamlaka.

The ministers were briefed on the latest
developments and procedures regarding the infrastructure and the future plan
for school building projects by the officials from the
Ministry of Public Works. They were also informed about the tendering procedures, studies, and
document preparation for school building projects.
The Ministry of Public Works is currently
implementing 30
school construction projects distributed across various
governorates in the country, with a total value of JOD 64.5 million, funded by
various sources.
The Ministry is also in the process of
accepting 6 schools located in different governorates throughout the Kingdom,
in collaboration with the
Ministry of Education.
Moreover, the Ministry of Public Works has
delivered 40 schools to the Ministry of Education during the current year, with
a total value exceeding JOD 27 million, including comprehensive school
buildings,
additional classrooms, sports facilities, and kindergartens.
