Ministry of Education needs 10,000 teachers

AMMAN — Head of the Supreme Council of the National Center for Curriculum Development, Azmi Mahafazah, said on Tuesday that the ministry has 4,000 vacancies for teachers, but the ministry needs 10,000 teachers, according to Jo24.اضافة اعلان

During a meeting of the Parliamentary Education and Youth Committee, he said that new curriculum for science and mathematics will be introduced in the next stage of high school, including physics, chemistry, biology and earth sciences.

Meanwhile, Minister of Education Wajih Owais has said that the most important point for the ministry is the training of teachers.

Owais pointed out that there are 700 unaffiliated schools, noting that most schools do not fit the educational environment.
