Minister of Industry and Trade: Heater Deaths Will Not Go Unpunished; Responsible Parties Will Face Justice

Minister of Industry and Trade, Yaarub Al-Qudah, affirmed that the recent incidents of fatalities caused by heaters will not go unnoticed, stressing that the government will handle the matter with full determination and responsibility.اضافة اعلان

During a meeting on Sunday morning at the Standards and Metrology Organization to follow up on measures taken to secure the heaters, Al-Qudah stated that any party found directly or indirectly responsible for these incidents will be referred to the judiciary and held accountable under the law, with no leniency, in order to safeguard citizens’ lives.

He added that the ministry, in cooperation with relevant authorities, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incidents and to verify the compliance of heaters available in the market with approved standards and specifications.
