King participates in late Prince Muhammed’s funeral service

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, and Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Hussein and Prince Hashem on Friday participated in the funeral service for HRH the late Prince Muhammed bin Talal at the Royal Cemetery.اضافة اعلان

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hassan, Prince Talal, Prince Ghazi, and a number of Royal Hashemite family members also participated in the funeral, according to a Royal Court statement.

King Abdullah and those present performed the Friday prayer and the funeral prayer at the Royal Guards Mosque.

The Royal Court, earlier in the day released a protocol for the funeral procession, which began with a special motorcade at the late prince’s palace around 11:55am on Friday.

The motorcade arrived at the Royal Guards Mosque at 12:30pm, where a limited number of mourners from the Royal Hashemite Family were in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related health concerns, the statement added.

Friday prayer and a funeral prayer were held at the Royal Guards Mosque, before the procession continued on foot to the Royal Cemetery, where a ceremony was held and the late Prince HRH Muhammed bin Talal was laid to rest
