During his visit, Al-Kharabsheh inspected the mobile station and reviewed the gas refueling process for vehicles, emphasizing the project’s importance in enhancing energy supply security and promoting national alternative energy solutions.
He noted that the project aligns with the Royal Vision for Economic Modernization and the ministry’s strategy to diversify projects across various sectors, including industrial, residential, healthcare, and tourism, while supporting plans to reduce carbon emissions. He highlighted the project’s positive impact in easing citizens’ burdens and lowering the energy bill.
Engineer Yasser Al-Manasir, CEO of Al-Manasir Company, stated that the gas is supplied by the National Petroleum Company, which holds the Risha gas concession. He added that 15 trucks currently operate on natural gas, with plans to expand the project to include smaller vehicles.
Additionally, a second station is planned to operate at the Risha field before the end of the year with a capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters, along with the purchase of five mobile units to support the project.
