The University renews its commitment to Jordan and its loyalty to the Hashemite leadership, pledging to make these values a tangible achievement, a foundation for awareness, and a responsibility faithfully upheld.
His Majesty the King has placed the Jordanian citizen at the heart of his message, expressing confidence in their awareness when paths become unclear, their wisdom when emotions run high, and their sincerity when challenges intensify.
This confidence carries a responsibility that touches the very essence of our university mission: to prepare students who possess knowledge and know how to apply it, minds capable of sound judgment, and a conscience aware that every word, position, and action leaves an impact on their country.
We see our students as partners in shouldering this responsibility. They have the right to receive an education that opens doors to the future, an environment for dialogue that respects their questions, and an institutional role model that upholds justice, integrity, and respect for the law.
It is our duty to equip them with critical thinking and information-verification skills, strengthen their ability to confront misinformation and incitement, protect their differences from turning into hostility, and ensure that their emotions are not exploited.
The University pays tribute to the souls of the sons of Karak and recalls His Majesty's words that their blood is a trust we all bear.
We carry our share of this responsibility by safeguarding the awareness of our young people and confronting every ideology that condones bloodshed, justifies aggression, or uses religious differences as a pretext for hatred.
We affirm that the sons of Hamoud are sons of the entire nation, that the grief of their families is our grief, and that our loyalty to their memory requires us to preserve a unity that remains beyond the reach of killers and those who sought to divide Jordanians through this crime.
The University takes pride in the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army and the security agencies and their personnel, who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the nation. It affirms that supporting their sacrifices begins with every institution fulfilling its responsibilities.
The University's duty is to safeguard minds through knowledge, confront extremism through reason, education, and sound arguments, and connect national belonging with responsible conduct, respect for human dignity, and the protection of public property and interests.
In line with His Majesty's guidance that the interests of Jordanians must remain at the heart of every decision, the University reaffirms that students are at the center of its academic responsibility.
The quality of education is measured by the knowledge, skills, and opportunities it provides, as well as students' ability to enter the labor market and contribute to its development.
Accordingly, we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the connection between education and production, supporting research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and building partnerships that enable students to turn their ideas into solutions and projects that serve the economy and society.
The University also reaffirms its commitment to directing scientific research towards serving the national priorities identified by His Majesty the King.
This includes supporting applied studies, research initiatives, and student-led projects in the field of water security, as well as strengthening partnerships with relevant institutions to translate research findings into practical solutions that contribute to protecting and sustaining water resources.
The University further renews its commitment to the principles emphasized in the Royal Speech regarding the rule of law and the rejection of the abuse of public office.
A university teaches through its values and practices just as much as it teaches through its curricula. Its credibility in the eyes of its students rests on the fairness of its procedures, respect for their rights, equal opportunities, and linking responsibility to competence and accountability.
Through these principles, we foster an awareness that views positions as responsibilities entrusted to serve others and authority as a trust governed by the law.
The University emphasizes that safeguarding the right to engage in public affairs discussions, as stressed by His Majesty the King, is both an educational and national responsibility.
It is committed to providing an environment that encourages meaningful dialogue and respectful disagreement, where students learn how to question, research, and discuss, defend their views through reasoned arguments, and listen to others with respect.
The University takes pride in His Majesty's steadfast position in defending the Palestinian people's right to their land and in opposing the attacks on Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, as well as expansionist ambitions that threaten the future of the region.
We believe that our academic duty includes deepening students' understanding of the issues facing their nation and fostering awareness grounded in history, rights, and facts, while carrying Jordan's Arab and humanitarian message with confidence and responsibility.
Your Majesty,
Your confidence in the Jordanian people is a trust that we carry in every student. We pledge to remain faithful to this responsibility: building through knowledge, protecting through awareness, and serving with dedication, so that our University continues to be a contributor to a nation made strong by its people, dignified by its institutions, and steadfast under its Hashemite leadership.
May God protect Jordan, safeguard His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, have mercy on the souls of the nation's sons, and bless Jordan with lasting security and stability, preserving its unity and strength.
