Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Eng. Sami Smeirat announced that the number of digitized government services has reached 1,679, accounting for 79% of total services provided. He confirmed that the figure will rise to 80% by the end of this year and reach 100% next year.اضافة اعلان

Speaking at the Government Communication Forum, Smeirat highlighted recent key achievements, including the launch of the smart passport service in early September and the operation of the digital hospital in Salt, which employs artificial intelligence technologies and offers remote diagnostics and treatment.

He also noted the activation of smart gates at Queen Alia International Airport, the launch of the National Registry for Government Services, and the tax invoicing system.

Smeirat further revealed a national project to establish a unified government data center, designed to consolidate government institutions’ databases with a high level of security, thereby enabling the development of future services.

The minister reiterated that the recently launched digital hospital in Salt is already providing advanced and efficient healthcare services that will greatly ease citizens’ lives.
