Today, the city of Aqaba dispatched four trucks loaded with over 30 tons of food and medical aid to Gaza, in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.

Ahmad Salem Al-Kasawneh, Vice President of the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce, stated that the Chamber’s facilities had been opened recently to collect donations from various sectors. He noted that large quantities of food, clothing, blankets, shoes, and other essentials had been gathered, sorted, and loaded under the supervision of a committee that included the Assistant Governor of Aqaba Sultan Hassan, the Director of Awqaf, the Audit Bureau, the Director of Social Development, the Special Aqaba Economic Zone Authority, and the Chamber of Commerce.
Al-Kasawneh confirmed that more than 27 trucks have been sent from Aqaba to Gaza since the beginning of the relief campaign, highlighting the strong cooperation of all sectors in Aqaba in supporting the people of Gaza with food, medicine, and basic necessities.
He also praised the role of the supervising bodies in ensuring that aid reaches its rightful recipients.
To date, the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, has led over 19 humanitarian campaigns, delivering a total of around 300 tons of aid via 27 trucks since the launch of the initiative.
