King Departs on Private Visit Including Working Trip to the United States

His Majesty King Abdullah II departed the Kingdom on Thursday for a private visit that includes a working trip to the United States.

During the visit, His Majesty will participate in the annual economic forum held in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he is scheduled to hold meetings with international political and economic leaders, as well as heads and representatives of some of the most prominent companies in the United States and around the world.اضافة اعلان

In Sacramento, California, His Majesty will meet with representatives of CalPERS, the largest public pension investment fund in the U.S., to explore opportunities for enhancing investment cooperation with Jordan.

His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of the Cabinet. (Petra)
