His Majesty King Abdullah II chaired a meeting of the National Security Council to discuss the Israeli attack on Iran and its implications for the region. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.اضافة اعلان

The King stressed that Israel’s attack, which violates international law and infringes upon Iran’s sovereignty, will have negative repercussions by fueling further tension and instability. He reiterated Jordan’s firm stance that the Kingdom will not be a battleground for any conflict.

His Majesty emphasized that diplomacy, negotiations, and respect for international law are the true paths to achieving security and stability in the region, noting that Jordan continues to coordinate regionally and internationally in pursuit of comprehensive de-escalation.

The King directed Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Dr. Jaafar Hassan to maintain the highest levels of preparedness and coordination among all state institutions in responding to the current developments. This includes taking necessary measures to ensure the Kingdom’s security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.

His Majesty also underscored the importance of continuing to urge citizens to adhere to safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, Director of the General Intelligence Directorate Major General Ahmad Husni, Director of Public Security Major General Dr. Obaidallah Maaytah, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, and Director of the King’s Office Eng. Alaa Batayneh.
