AMMAN — On Friday, Jordanians across the country took to the streets to protest the recent Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque. اضافة اعلان

The protests included marches and vigils, as participants denounced the violent practices of the Israeli occupation forces against the holy site and its worshippers.



Protesters demanded an immediate cessation of the violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa by settlers, extremists, and Israeli occupation forces.

They urged the international community to take a firm stance to protect the sanctities and support Palestinians who are subjected daily to attack, emphasizing the need for a unified Arab position to confront Israeli practices that violate international covenants and laws.

Support for Hashemite CustodianshipParticipants stressed the importance of the Hashemite Custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

They noted the Hashemites' role in protecting the holy sites and preserving the legal and historical status quo in them, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The protesters praised the steadfastness of the worshippers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque. They also commended the resilience of the people of Jerusalem in the face of the Israeli occupation, which violates and disregards international resolutions, covenants, and treaties.
